Yaowaraj Yai
This dark blue square flag [identical to th-r-cpr.gif above] contains a yellow square, the diameter of which was half the width of the flag itself. In the middle of the flag stands a red garuda. Flown from the main mast of the Royal Yacht or the warship, it denotes the presence on board of His Majesty the King or the Crown Prince on official visit.This flag was first used towards the end of B.E. 2453 [1910 AD] during the reign of Rama VI following a Royal Decree (R.S. 129) specifying the design and use of the two types of flag to be flown by the Crown Prince: the "Yaowaraj Yai" and the "Yaowaraj Noi". Both have been in use ever since.
